Kerry Wing is a guitar/Ukulele teacher, musician and singer-songwriter from San Francisco. He has been teaching students of all ages for the past 12 years. 



Kerry grew up in a musical family. Before he could talk he would hum melodies. He started learning guitar at age 7 from his father, Peter Wing. In middle school he studied with John Fuller of Peninsula School and continued learning music with John DeRobertis in San Francisco. Since then, he has studied with other local instructors as well as teachers in Brazil, Europe, India, and with Hawaiian Grammy winner George Kahumoku Jr.



Kerry has performed his music at venues such as Yoshi's, Slims, Cafe Du Nord, The Catalyst, Reggae In The Park, Mt Shasta World Music Festival and Whole Earth Festival.  He has played with many groups including his own band (Kerry Wing Band), Pacific Vibrations  (Reggae), Tzigane Society (Rock), The Love Dimension (Classic Rock), Sullen (Metal), West Of Cali (Folk and Hawaiian), Big Wave Ramblers (Blues and Surf), Sheepdawg (hip hop) and Zanzibar (World music, Afro-Funk, Latin). His music has been played on radio stations locally and internationally. In 2012, his song Worlds Apart off his debut album Bio-Electric Love was runner up in VH1's Song of the Year contest.
